Theory and Hazard Perception test training

Before you can take the practical driving test you must pass the Theory and Hazard Perception test.

The Theory test

The Theory test has been designed to give the pupil a greater understanding of

Rules and Regulations

Road signs and Road markings

The test is conducted using a touch screen computer using a multiple choice question bank. You will be asked 35 questions and you must get 30 or more right to achieve a pass.

The Hazard Perception test

The Hazard Perception test has been designed to improve the pupils awarness and anticipation of hazards. Improving this skill will greatly reduce the chance of you being involved in a accident.

The Hazard Perception test consist of whatching video clips on the computer screen and clicking the mouse button when you see a hazard. The definition of a hazard is anything that makes you slow down or change direction.

Training for the Theory & Hazard Perception tests

On your driving lessons you can use the in-car computer to practise both these tests. I will give you advice on how to revise for the theory test and show you how to scan and identify hazards and give you tips on how to pass the Hazard Perception test.

One 2 One tuition

At KHS we do not believe in having more than one pupil in the car at any time. When your learning to drive its hard enough trying to concentrate on car control and the road ahead without having another pupil whatching you drive. Rest assured that with us you will never be put in that position.

Automatic driving tuition

We can provide Automatic Driving tuition through our sister company AutoDrive. Theory & Hazard Perception test training is also given using a in-car computer
